The navigation commercial ministry with it's decision on 03/06/2000 provided to ANEN, expedient permission to a ship for time-tabling for the line Kisamos - Kithira - Githio - Kalamata with starting point the port of Kisamos and it will carry out itinerary to the following lines:
A) KISAMOS - KITHIRA - GITHIO
B) KISAMOS - KITHIRA - KALAMATA
C) KISAMOS - ANTIKITHIRA - KITHIRA - PIRAEUS
The ship is obligated to the continuous and complete service of the line through out the year and to approach ANTIKITHIRA for transition and return least once a week to the line (a).The line (c) will be performed when there are transportation needs to last technology ships.
After research of the Greek and universal market, the immediate investigation to many ships from experts and members of the Administrative council and the remarks of them the EG/OG ANEMOS was chosen as the most appropriate. That was bought by the amount of one billion six hundred and fifty million drachmas and was listed to the registry of Piraeus ships (N.Π. 9465)

The ship was delivered to ANEN on 03/31/2000.All the necessary procedures, checkings, inspections were done so all the security certificates will be provided to it.It was time-tabled on 04/07/2000 with frequently itineraries connecting the territories of west Crete, Antikithira, Kithira and South Peloponnisos.
